County’s Namesake January 19, 2009

An especially profound day to acknowledge how far our country has come.  Happy birthday Reverend Doctor Martin Luther King Jr.  We are getting closer to the dream.  It is fitting we celebrate Dr. King’s memory on the eve of President Elect Barack Obama’s inauguration.  This country is amazing.

In the last few years King County officially changed it’s name to reference Dr. King and updated the crown logo to his visage.  Good change.
